I'm going to say something that may not be right and that many may disagree with, but which popped into my mind while thinking about this watch. Xeric is the affordable Jacob & Co. The brand has always made fun watches with odd complications or displays that put novelty and quirkiness above almost everything else, and it did so before the slew of unpronounceable brands that have cropped up in recent years seeking to do the same thing. The other real technical trick here is how you wind the watch – and this system is actually the most innovative thing about the watch.
