About Planet Street

Our Story

Planet Street was launched in June of 2013. Originally a project to create a television series for primetime, the company was founded by Rob Stevens, Omen Ferdowsi, and Corin Nemec to address a more broad opportunity for a worldwide street culture brand.

The combined 65 years of experience among the three founders in the worlds of graffiti, network television, entertainment, and Silicon Valley entrepreneurship have formed the base of a team uniquely capable of taking on the lofty goals of Planet Street.

From art to music and from food to dance and sports to fashion, these cultural forms of self-expression have their beginnings on the streets of the world. These are all forms of local, "public art" which Planet Street now brings together into one unified brand presence and destination where users can personalize their public arts experience.
